made of our partly bio-based biopolymer (PBAT) can remain in the soil after harvest and be ploughed in. Naturally
occurring soil microbes recognize the structure of the film as food they can metabolize. Thus, farmers do not have to laboriously
remove and recycle them as with conventional mulch films made of polyethylene (PE), which do not biodegrade. This results in many

It is used to cover the soil surface to protect the plant roots from severe heat and cold weather conditions. Moreover, it keeps
